Hotels, hostels and B&B's
There's
a good range of accommodation in Glasgow.
Most of the rooms are in the city centre or in the West End area.
Privately run B&Bs are excellent value for money. In general,
prices are significantly lower than in Edinburgh. Be aware of
seasonal variations in pricing. During school holidays, summer,
Easter breaks, and Christmas it's worth booking ahead to
ensure a good room.

You can book ahead directly or trough the
Glasgow Tourist Information Centre,
which charges a fee. If you're prepaired to sacrifice home comforts and
ambience, you'll find the cheapest hotel rooms in Glasgow at
the
budget chain hotels found throughout the city.
The popular and cheap Euro Hostel,
318 Clyde street, is located in the city centre. The
Euro
Hostel has 360 beds and tries to bridge the gap between budget hotel
and backpacker hostel.
