Glasgow
has an extensive suburban network of buses,
trains, a subway and there's
no shortage of taxis in the city.
The Buchanan Bus Station,
the underground station, Central Station and Queen Street
Station
are all on or within a couple of blocks of George Square.
There are taxi ranks at the two train
stations and Buchanan Bus Station.
City
bus services are very frequent. There
are several bus companies in and around
Glasgow. The two main operators are:
First Group and Arriva.
The suburban train network in and
around Glasgow is convenient.
The subway line serves 15 stations in
the
west, south and the center of Glasgow city and forms a small circle.
Various transport passes and tickets are
available, even if you plan to stay for just
one day. There is also ZoneCard wich gives you unlimited
travel by subway, bus and rail.
