Pubs and bars in Glasgow
There
are a variety of pubs, clubs, cafés
and bars in Glasgow, most of them are found in the City Centre, the
Merchant City area and the "bohemian district", West End.
One of the most popular destinations in Glasgow's West
End is Ashton Lane, a pedestrian friendly street with bars,
clubs,
restaurants and shops. Almost each pub in Glasgow is full
of characters of its own.
Recently many pubs and bars have been
established. As for opening hours, the city's
licensing regulations have been in flux.
Pubs often keep serving until midnight, although some outside
the
Merchant City and the West End close at 11pm during the week. But in
some districts you'll find pubs open at the weekend untill 1am.
